dynamite_ladyNote: intro posts aren't compulsory or a condition of joining, but I thought I'd do one as a means of procrastinating!

Reasons for knitting with acrylic: veganness and cost
Favourite acrylic item: tossup between any of my homemade jumpers and the scarf I made years ago in three shades of purple that is too long to wear!
Favourite non-acrylic fibre: cotton or some bamboo.
Usual knitting style: on big needles and without too much fuss
When I'm not knitting I'm: reading a whole lot of anarchist books, teaching, trying to find time to go for walks, more likely painting my nails and watching the rain piss down outside!
Other info: I like ducks.
